The modernist house of Can Prunera has received 1,000 children in just 3 months since its reopening. More than a dozen schools, from Aula Balear to Mata de Jonc, through the Escoleta Municipal de Sóller, the IES Mondaura, Es Convent or Es Fossaret, have been able to enjoy the playground of The Islands of Curiosity. The family workshops on Saturdays and the visitors of Can Prunera with their families, have made it possible to reach this figure. The Islands of Curiosity have housed, in its 450 square meters, the creativity, imagination and smiles of a thousand children who have been able to create art, build their own huts and castles or relax in the light room, with its appealing music and sensorial lighting. The light tables to create stories, the wooden constructions, the glued mosaics or the water canvases for painting, have become for many of them a unique and unforgettable discovery.

Little Amira, 4 years old, wrote to us that the playground had become her favorite place in the world. Another little girl, Neus, 6 years old, asked us if she could come every day to paint. Matías, 9 years old, our great little painter, has been coming to the workshop every Saturday since we opened. And countless and beautiful testimonies that reaffirm one of our objectives: it is in childhood and through play that people develop.

Can Prunera is that place where creativity, art and thought are made.
