We find ourselves at a crucial juncture in our evolution as a species. With society on the brink of collapse, pushing the boundaries of what it means to be human and testing our ethical limits, we are faced with a dramatic, yet potentially salvific, choice: extinction or evolution.
What do we need to ensure the future of humanity? To what extent is technology key to our survival? Eudald Carbonell proposes a sort of decalogue to guarantee the continued existence of Homo sapiens on our planet.
Eudald Carbonell is an archaeologist, professor of prehistory and co-director of the Atapuerca Project, as well as vice-president of its Foundation. His scientific achievements include the creation of a logical-analytical system for analysing prehistoric technology and the study of ancient settlement on the Iberian Peninsula.
