Teresa Mayol Puig (Sóller, 1992) studied Social and Cultural Anthropologist in the University of Barcelona. Born in Sóller into a healthy and happy family, from a young age, she was instilled with deep values that shaped her professional career and her heightened sensitivity. After graduating, she completed a Master’s degree in Equality Policies and Prevention of Gender-Based Violence at the UIB. She focused her research on gender identities and the prevention of intra-gender violence. Currently, she works for the Sóller Railway and describes herself as a lover of books and football. She is now embarking on her adventure in the world of literature as the facilitator of the first book club at the Can Prunera: centre for Art, Creativity and Thought.
