An immersive and sensorial space to play and feel, from 0 to 99 years old
The islands of Curiosity of Can Prunera is an artistic intervention dedicated to playfulness and creativity. Created by Irene Fernández, architect and founder of Createctura, this is an initiative dedicated to the creation of interactive, unique and sustainable learning spaces.
In the islands of curiosity, creativity, imagination and play go hand in hand, because playing is a meaning in itself.
Therefore, on the top floor of Can Prunera, we have set up 450 square meters for exploring, discovering, playing and resting. As if we were architects, we can interact with wooden elements and build huts, yurts and artistic shelters using simple geometric shapes. If we want to be abstract painters, we can also be so thanks to the canvases that will cover the various rooms. In addition, there will be interactive workshops to create stories by letting our imagination guide us. Curiosity will also lead us to play with the magnetized panels of Can Prunera, where the figures, animals, plants and shapes of the tiles and stained glass will have come to life so that we can create ephemeral paintings with them.
Finally, Irene Fernandez has created the light room, a unique place in Mallorca where you can relax and rest after the game. We will be greeted by a canvas of hanging textiles, attractive and dreamlike lighting, large pillows and poufs on which to lie down while a subtle, delicious and full of nuances music plays. Three strategically placed projectors will envelop us, making us part of a luminous dream, creating an unforgettable experience.
