Creating the most perfect shape: let’s get to work with geometry!

In this second workshop, we will explore how triangles are the strongest shape in nature. Children (and their companions) will become builders for a day, using rods and knots to build a giant dome together, understanding the secret of its lightness and strength.

To do this, we will draw inspiration from American architect Richard B. Fuller and his method of doing more with less, optimising the material used to make the world a more sustainable and efficient place.

Workshop for families with children ages five and up.
